All research on human subjects conducted at the Princeton Medical Center is governed by the Institutional Review Board (IRB). Clinical trials are studies of new treatment and diagnostic approaches in patients. Every advance that has been achieved in medicine and has improved the lives of patients has come about as the result of clinical trials.
