Dr. Zhang is Director of Gastrointestinal and Liver Pathology at Princeton Medical Center, an associate member of Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey and a clinical assistant professor of pathology and laboratory medicine at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He holds adjunct or guest professorships at Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, Tongji University, Shanghai, and PLA General (301) Hospital, Beijing, China. He serves as an editor for Scientific Reports, PloS ONE, The American Journal for Digestive Disease and Archives of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. Dr. Zhang pursued postdoctoral research at the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor, MI after earning his medical and master degrees from Tongji Medical University, Wuhan, China. He completed his pathology training at Mount Sinai Medical Center, NY and University of Pennsylvania, PA. He is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
