Most people are familiar with medical sonography, or ultrasound, as a way of capturing images of a fetus during pregnancy. However, radiologists at University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro are also among the region's leaders in the emerging field of musculoskeletal ultrasound -- using ultrasound to diagnose and treat problems with bones, muscles and joints.
