This course is directed to the learning needs of physicians, psychotherapists, psychologists, counselors, intermediate to advanced-level social workers and related fields of practice.

AGENDA:

• Background and overview of hardiness and resilience research and approach

• Core concepts and strategies

• Assessment tools

OBJECTIVES:  Upon completion of this session, the participant shall be able to:

• Describe the research-based approach to building stress-resistance skills that lead to increased resilience

• Identify key core attitudes and cognitive approach that constitute this therapeutic model
