Diet and Exercise Plans

Welcome to the Walk The Mile Program.

This is a six-week exercise and walking program designed to help you get prepared for a one-mile walk -- or even part of the walk, if that's what you would prefer to do. There are two programs, a beginner and an intermediate for you to choose from, based on your current level of fitness. The walking can be done at any pace indoors or outdoors. Please consult with your doctor before starting a new diet and exercise regimen. If you have pain while performing these exercises, please stop and consult your physician. If you are currently attending physical therapy, please advise your therapist that you are beginning this program. Above all, have fun with this and move at your own pace.
