2014 Annual Mandatories for Volunteers

Thank you for your continued service to Princeton HealthCare System and our patients! We could not fulfill our mission without dedicated people like you.

To ensure the safety of everyone and to meet compliance requirements, annual education and performance evaluations/position competency is required for all employees and volunteers.  

 

Below you will find instructions on how to meet these requirements. All steps must be completed by all active volunteers no later than December 15, 2014.

  

Step 1

Review the Annual Education Module by clicking here.

This module includes information that is deemed essential for all volunteers. The module also includes similar information that new volunteers receive during orientation. A thorough review of the module will take approximately 30-45 minutes to complete.

Step 2

Take the on-line test to prove that you have reviewed and retained material from the Annual Education Module. Click here to get started.  

You will be emailed your test results and score after you submit the test. You must complete the test by December 15, 2014 and score an 80% or greater to meet this requirement. There are 29 questions and the test will take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete. You will be emailed a copy of the results and Volunteer Services will be notified automatically.

Note: If you aren't able to access the on-line exam, please click here to download and print a hardcopy of the test. This test can be completed and turned into Volunteer Services for credit.

Step 3

Print out Performance Evaluation/Position Competency document for supervisor's completion. Copies will also be available in Volunteer Services.

It's important that you are provided feedback about your performance. To begin the process, find and review the Performance Evaluation/Position Competency document for the volunteer assignment or assignments to which you are currently assigned. 

These documents are listed by department and then by assignment title. You will need to print the document or pick up a copy in Volunteer Services and then present the form to your department supervisor.

Your department supervisor should review and complete the form providing evaluation and feedback. This can be done during your shift or during a one to one meeting. You or your supervisor must return the form to Volunteer Services before December 15 2014.
