Health

 

Medical Insurance

All full- and part-time employees (who work a regular schedule of fifteen (15) hours or more per week) and their dependents are eligible for medical insurance coverage on the first of the month following 1 full month of employment.

Dental Insurance

All full- and part-time employees (who work a regular schedule of fifteen (15) hours or more per week) and their dependents are eligible for dental insurance coverage on the first of the month following 1 full month of employment.

Prescription Plan

3-tier plan providing extensive list of covered drugs with a co-pay

Vision

Discount Vision Plan is available to all benefit-eligible employees and their dependents on the first of the month following 1 full month of employment.  Offers discounts on prescription glasses, lenses, frames and exams. An Enhanced Vision Plan is also available.

Health Care Spending Account Opportunity for employees to use pre-tax dollars to pay for eligible healthcare expenses.
Dependent Spending Account Opportunity for employees to use pre-tax dollars to pay for child or elder care.

Life Insurance *

1-1/2 times your annual salary paid to your beneficiary in the event of your death.

Optional Life Insurance *

Additional term life coverage can be elected in increments of $10,000 to a maximum of $500,000 or 5 times your salary, whichever is less; paid for through payroll deductions.

Long Term Care Insurance Available to employees and eligible family members; paid for through payroll deductions or direct bill.

Temporary Disability

Temporary disability is available through a private disability insurer.

Leave of Absence

Medical Leave and Family Leave available for the employee's own serious medical condition or to care for a family member with a serious medical condition in accordance with the Federal FMLA, NJFLA and ADA guidelines.

Voluntary Benefits * Critical Illness Insurance, Accident Insurance, Universal Life Insurance, Disability Income Protection, Group Legal and Pet Insurance are available to eligible employees: paid for through payroll deductions.

Financial Security

 
Pension A defined contribution plan for eligible employees of PHCS. You become fully vested in our Pension Plan after three years.
Tax-Shelter Annuity Plan - 403(B) Individual tax-sheltered savings plan for your retirement; through payroll deduction.
Tuition Reimbursement 100% reimbursement for full-time employees up to a maximum of $3,500 for graduate programs and $2,500 for undergraduate programs. Part-time employees' reimbursements and maximums are prorated. Reimbursement will be made for courses of study directly related to the likelihood of career advancement within PHCS.
