Annual Rummage Sale to Benefit UMCPP

Community Connection of Princeton HealthCare will hold its annual White Elephant Rummage Sale on Saturday, September 28, and Sunday, September 29, at Princeton Airport, 41 Airpark Road, Princeton.

Proceeds from the sale benefit University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro.

The rummage sale will be held rain or shine from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on September 28 and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on September 29. Items available for purchase will include furniture, electronics, lighting, small appliances, stereos, bicycles, clothes, toys, linens, hardware, sports, holiday items, books, jewelry, antiques, bric-a-brac, housewares and art. A shuttle will run between the sale and the nearby parking area for shoppers who need help transporting heavy or fragile items.

Community Connection is accepting donated items for the rummage sale on Tuesdays and Saturdays through Saturday, September 21, at the Princeton Behavioral Health campus, 905 Herrontown Road, Princeton. Items may be delivered to the warehouse building from 9 a.m. to 12 noon on Tuesday and Saturday and from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday evenings.

The following items cannot be accepted:

  • Mattresses and bed pillows
  • Cribs or car seats
  • Bowling balls
  • Older computers
  • Larger appliances, including TVs
  • Entertainment centers
  • Organs and pianos
  • Three-seater sofas
  • Sewing machine tables
  • Encyclopedias, textbooks, magazines, and Readers Digests
  • Curtain rods and valances
  • Broken, stained or rusty items
