Princeton HealthCare System Highlights Neighborhood Information Center
Jan 8, 2013
Princeton HealthCare System (PHCS) will hold an open house and health fair from noon to 3 p.m. on Sunday, January 13, 2013, at the Neighborhood Information Center, 281 Witherspoon St., Princeton.
Visitors to the health fair can receive free flu shots and blood pressure screenings while also learning more about the Neighborhood Information Center, which is located in the lower level of the medical office building at 281 Witherspoon St.
Open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., the center was established earlier this year to help residents of the Witherspoon Street neighborhood transition from the former hospital location to University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro (UMCPP).
The Neighborhood Information Center Coordinator, who is bilingual in English and Spanish, can provide free tickets for NJ Transit’s 655 bus. Neighbors of the old hospital in Princeton can take the bus directly to the new one in Plainsboro.
The coordinator also can help arrange clinic appointments at the Bristol-Myers Squibb Community Health Center at UMCPP, which provides primary medical care to uninsured and underinsured residents of central New Jersey.
For more information, please call the Neighborhood Information Center at (609) 853-6200 or the Bristol-Myers Squibb Community Health Center at (609) 853-7600.
