Chat with Our Specialist: Sleep and Your Heart

Jun 13, 2011

Dr. Ashgan Elshinawy, a triple board certified internist who specializes in pulmonary disease and sleep medicine, will discuss sleep and its effect on heart health with a live Internet audience when Princeton HealthCare System (PHCS) hosts its next Web chat on Wednesday, June 15, 2011.

The Web chat, which begins at 7 p.m., is the latest in a series of such events by PHCS to give consumers access to seminars hosted by medical professionals without leaving their homes. The chats are hosted on PHCS' UStream channel: www.ustream.tv/channel/princetonhealth.

Dr. Elshinawy will take audience members' questions after leading the discussion on sleep, cardiovascular health, and the effects that sleep disorders have on the heart.

To participate in the Web chat, users will need a PC or MAC with a broadband Internet connection and Adobe Flash Player installed. Download the latest Adobe Flash Player at http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/.

Participants will be required to log in or create a new account at the site to ask questions. To pre-register, call (888) 897-8979 or visit www.princetonhcs.org/calendar.

Those who register will be entered in a random drawing immediately following the Web chat for one of several $25 gift cards.
