Kim J. Pimley Named Chair of PHCS Foundation Board

Kim J. Pimley of Princeton has been elected Chair of the Princeton HealthCare System Foundation Board of Directors, Princeton HealthCare System Foundation announced today.
Princeton HealthCare System President and CEO Barry S. Rabner said of Ms. Pimley's election, "Kim brings the intense focus, intelligence and energy that has helped make her company a success and to all her many community based efforts. Those characteristics, coupled with her values-driven decision-making, mean she is the ideal leader for the Foundation."
Outgoing Board Chair Richard O. Scribner welcomed Ms. Pimley, saying, "At this pivotal moment in Princeton HealthCare System's history, Kim is the right person to lead the Board of Directors. Her experience in chairing the Annual Giving Committee and in serving on other committees as well as her passionate commitment to health care in our community will inform her work as Board Chair."
As Ms. Pimley begins her two-year term as Chair of the Board of Directors, the Princeton HealthCare System Foundation continues to raise funds for the most pressing needs of Princeton HealthCare System. Its current campaign is Design for Healing, which is in support of the new University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro, expected to open in late 2011 as a replacement hospital for the current University Medical Center at Princeton. The campaign has raised $109 million thus far in support of the new hospital.
Of her new role as Princeton HealthCare System Foundation Board Chair, Ms. Pimley said, "It's a great honor to serve with the talented, dedicated, and caring PHCS family of board members, employees and volunteers. We look forward to increasing community involvement in this extraordinary health care initiative."
Ms. Pimley and her husband, Michael, reside in Princeton with their son. Ms. Pimley is the co-founder of Pimley & Pimley Inc. and is President of P&P Training Resources, Inc. She also serves as Central New Jersey Chapter President of the American Jewish Committee.
