The new Center for Neuroscience Care at University Medical Center of
Princeton at Plainsboro (UMCPP) understands the importance of privacy, comfort
and clinical expertise to patients undergoing diagnostic testing and treatment
for neurological conditions. To allow patients to complete diagnostic testing,
consult with physicians, and begin treatment in one convenient location, the
Center joins two specialized programs--one focusing on seizure disorders and
another on neurological conditions --in one designated care center.
The Center has been designed to provide comprehensive inpatient and
outpatient diagnostic and treatment services for adults and children
experiencing such conditions as:
- Epilepsy (seizure disorders)
- Dizziness
- Head injuries
- Back pain
- Lower extremity weakness
- Degenerative diseases such as Parkinson's, dementia and Alzheimer's
Inpatient care includes in-room diagnostics and 24/7 personalized
observation.
