At Princeton Medical Center, maternity care starts with a simple approach: we listen. We know you come to us filled with joy and expectations about the journey ahead. And we want to do everything we can to help you to feel confident and comfortable through pregnancy, labor and delivery. We also offer information and insight as you prepare to care for your new baby at home.

Professional, personal care

Our team includes exceptional OB/GYNs, midwives and nurses who are specially trained in maternity and newborn care. They are with you — listening and caring — every step of the way.

Anesthesiologists are at the hospital 24/7 and maternal fetal medicine experts are available for women with high-risk pregnancies.

Neonatologists from Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) are on-site 24/7 to care for the newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).*

During your stay, you will be in a spacious single-bed room equipped with advanced technology, amenities that enhance your comfort and privacy, and overnight guest accommodations.

Additionally, Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center is among 66 hospitals or health systems nationwide and seven in New Jersey to receive perinatal care certification from The Joint Commission, the nation's oldest healthcare accrediting body.

Delivery is just the beginning

We provide a range of programs for parents and families:

Lactation services, including breastfeeding classes, support groups and outpatient consultations
Pre- and post-natal education and support groups, including Daddy Bootcamp
Courses for siblings, grandparents and babysitters
