The new hospital and 171-acre medical campus are conveniently located off of Route 1, with a campus extending from Scudders Mill Road to Plainsboro Road, and from Plainsboro Road to the Millstone River in Plainsboro, just 2.5 miles from the center of Princeton.
The campus plans include a modern medical office building attached to the hospital, a world-class education center, a health and fitness center, a skilled nursing facility, a pediatric services facility and a beautiful 32-acre public park.
Designed by a team of internationally renowned architects and consultants, who gathered input from physicians, employees, patients and community members, the new hospital will be built using the latest in green building techniques. The goal is to minimize the hospital's impact on the environment and provide the best conditions for patients.
Community support for the new hospital, a $447 million project, has been overwhelming and continues to grow through the Design for Healing capital campaign.
