The Men's Program offers Partial Hospital and Intensive Outpatient Services to men who have experienced traumatic events that may be currently impacting their sense of well-being and overall functioning. Men in the Partial Hospital Program attend six hours per day (9:30am - 3:30pm) four/ five days per week. Men in the Intensive Outpatient Program attend three hours per day (9:30am - 12:30pm) three days per week. Transportation is available within defined areas.
Program Goals
- Understanding the relationship between trauma and psychiatric symptoms
- Establishing and maintaining safety
- Facilitating healthy ways of managing emotion
- Avoiding the pitfalls of substance use
- Teaching coping and relationship-building skills
- Understanding how behaviors that were once adaptive and useful for survival may no longer serve that function
- Building self-esteem and self-confidence through self empowerment
