Adolescent Partial Hospital Program
The Adolescent Partial Hospital Program is designed for adolescents with psychiatric problems or a combination of psychiatric and substance abuse problems that impair functioning at home and school. Adolescents attend the six hour program (9:30am - 3:30pm) five days per week. Transportation is available within defined areas.
Program Goals
- Stabilize psychiatric symptoms so the student can return to school
- Establish and maintain sobriety
- Improve stress management and coping skills
- Preserve academic standing by providing 2 hours of academic instruction daily
Program Features
- Comprehensive medical management by Board Certified Child Psychiatrist
- Group and Individual Counseling
- Patient and family-centered treatment approach with family therapy throughout treatment
- Consistent collaboration and communication with schools and other support services
- Expressive Therapies
- Urine Drug Screens (as clinically indicated)
- Two (2) hours of academic instruction by certified teachers
