Adolescent Partial Hospital Program

North Brunswick, Moorestown and Hamilton

The Adolescent Partial Hospital Program is designed for adolescents with psychiatric problems or a combination of psychiatric and substance abuse problems that impair functioning at home and school.  Adolescents attend the six hour program (9:30am - 3:30pm) five days per week.  Transportation is available within defined areas.

Program Goals

  • Stabilize psychiatric symptoms so the student can return to school
  • Establish and maintain sobriety
  • Improve stress management and coping skills
  • Preserve academic standing by providing 2 hours of academic instruction daily

  • Patient and family-centered treatment approach with family therapy throughout treatment
  • Consistent collaboration and communication with schools and other support services

  • Urine Drug Screens  (as clinically indicated)
  • Two (2) hours of academic instruction by certified teachers
