Assistance for Breastfeeding Mothers

Our lactation consultants offer ongoing support and guidance to breastfeeding mothers. They see new mothers on a daily basis, assisting with feedings and positioning. Lactation consultants can also arrange for pump rentals.

All consultations are complimentary. In addition, our lactation consultants can answer questions about a variety of topics such as nutrition, prescriptions, returning to work, traveling and bottle-feeding.

Lactation Services are available to all breastfeeding mothers at University Medical Center.
