Program Features

PR25896-1526x2289-22LRVarious treatment strategies include motivational, cognitive-behavioral, 12-step, interpersonal, emotion focused and insight-oriented techniques. These approaches are blended together to better understand and respond to a wide range of patients’ needs and to meet them respectfully in the process of change. Some features of the program include:

  • Comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and customized treatment planning
  • A well-devised core curriculum consisting of intensive group therapy, individual psychotherapy, educational sessions, and available self-help meetings held on the premises
  • Medication management and monitoring
  • Medical detoxification is available in a separate unit, conveniently located on the main campus of Princeton House Behavioral Health
  • Therapeutic options – including expressive therapies, individual therapy, educational groups, professional coaching and family counseling
  • Appropriate internet and cell phone use permitted during specified periods and in designated areas
  • Supervised access to cultural amenities of the local Princeton area and Princeton Fitness & Wellness Center as a part of programming
  • A visitor and family-friendly program
  • Insurance viability assessed on an individual basis, and flexible self-pay arrangements available
