Princeton HealthCare System is proud of these outstanding achievements, and is committed to pHRET-award-2006-webversionroviding the best health programming to the community we serve through our Community Education & Outreach Program. 

  • HRET Award 2006:
    Improving Access and Quality of Care for the Uninsured, Underinsured and Minority Groups in Hightstown, NJ
    Awarded by the Health Research and Educational Trust of New Jersey, a nonprofit affiliate of the New Jersey Hospital Association, this honor recognizes the partnership between a hospital and its community to fulfill community needs and improve the health and wellbeing of the individuals in that community.
  • Knowledge Net "In the Know" Award 2006:
    Consumer and Patient Education - Addressing Issues of Disparity and Access in the Latino and African American Communities in Central NJ
    This award acknowledges individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions toward reducing healthcare disparities caused by lack of information or access to care, due to race, ethnicity or socioeconomic status.
  • March of Dimes Reality Awards 2006:
    Not Your Average Josephine - Patient Education
    , awarded to Debbie Millar, RN, Coordinator of Women & Family Health
    This award was given to Debbie by the March of Dimes for her commitment to providing outstanding patient education.
  • Frances Black Humanitarian Award in Healthcare 2005, awarded to Lauren J. Denney, MSN, RN, CNA, BC, Director of Education
    This award is presented by Friends' Health Connection to honor individuals from 50 affiliate hospitals and healthcare facilities who demonstrate outstanding commitment to healthcare and provide extraordinary service to patients and/or caregivers.
