Current Needs at Princeton HealthCare System

Current needs at Princeton HealthCare System include funding for the following at University Medical Center at Princeton:

  • Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) Inpatient, Emergency and Newborn Care at University Medical Center at Princeton.
In July 2009, physicians and other healthcare professionals from CHOP began providing inpatient, emergency and newborn care at our hospital. CHOP is one of the leading pediatric hospitals and research facilities in the world. CHOP-Logo-Horz

  • Acute Care of the Elderly (ACE) Nursing Unit.
In January 2009, University Medical Center at Princeton opened this special nursing unit, designed to meet the needs of older adults. We are the only hospital in Mercer County, and one of only eight hospitals in New Jersey, with an ACE unit. The unit is part of Special Hospital Services for Older Adults.
