Assistance for Breastfeeding Mothers

Our staff provides ongoing support and guidance to breastfeeding mothers. They offer bedside assistance with feeding and positioning. Lactation consultants are available on a consultative basis for difficult feeding issues. In addition, they can also arrange for pump rentals.

All consultations are complimentary. Our lactation consultants can also answer questions about a variety of topics such as nutrition, prescriptions, returning to work, traveling and bottle-feeding.

Lactation services are available to all breastfeeding mothers at University Medical Center at Princeton.

Mothers who have questions after returning home are also encouraged to contact the lactation consultants.
